So, there was this article I read about ‘The View’ co-hosts defending Don Lemon amidst his firing from CNN. Apparently, some people accused him of being misogynistic, but the ladies on the show shut that down real quick by vouching for his character and saying he loves women.
From what I gathered, Lemon was let go from CNN due to a statement he made about unvaccinated people and how they shouldn’t be allowed in public spaces. Some folks didn’t agree with him and criticized him heavily, but ‘The View’ crew made it clear that this had nothing to do with his alleged misogyny.
I gotta say, it’s always cool to see someone get defended like this. In the age of cancel culture, it seems like a lot of folks are ready to write people off without any sort of due process. But it’s important to consider each situation carefully and give people the benefit of the doubt, at least to start.
Overall, it was an interesting read, and I think it’s cool that ‘The View’ stood by Don Lemon’s side. It’s important to ask questions and hold people accountable, but it’s equally important to listen to different perspectives and give people a fair shake.
