'Runaway fireball' could be alien probe that crashed off coast of Papua New Guinea: Harvard scientist

Oh man, have you heard about the “Runaway fireball” that could be an alien probe? It’s wild! A Harvard scientist, Avi Loeb, thinks that this weird object that crashed off the coast of Papua New Guinea in 1997 was actually sent by extraterrestrials. Apparently, it was moving too fast to be a natural object and had a weird cigar shape. Loeb thinks it’s possible that it was sent by an advanced civilization to explore our solar system, but it accidentally crashed.

I mean, I love a good conspiracy theory, but this one actually has some pretty compelling arguments behind it. For one thing, the object was way too bright to be a typical meteor, and the way it was moving was just bizarre. Plus, Loeb has credentials, so he’s not just some internet crackpot.

Of course, there are plenty of skeptics out there who think this is all a load of rubbish. But it’s still really interesting to think about the possibility of intelligent life out there, and whether or not they’ve been trying to make contact with us. Who knows what else is out there waiting to be discovered?

Overall, I think the article is worth a read just to get your mind going about what else might be out there in the universe. It’s a fun little rabbit hole to fall down.
