Professor holds machete to reporter's neck after destroying student's pro-life display: report

So, I read this crazy article about a college professor who destroyed a pro-life display set up by students, and then held a machete to a reporter’s neck when they tried to interview him about it! The incident happened at the University of Texas at Austin, where students have the right to set up displays expressing their beliefs or political views. But this professor clearly didn’t agree with the pro-life display, because he destroyed it in broad daylight. When a student journalist from a conservative news site tried to interview the professor, he apparently got so angry that he pulled out a machete and held it to the reporter’s neck! Now, I don’t know about you, but that seems pretty extreme to me. I understand that people have strong opinions on issues like abortion, but resorting to violence or threatening behavior is never the answer. It’s important to remember that we all have the right to free speech and expression, even if we don’t agree with each other. Plus, using a machete? Come on, dude. Let’s try to keep it civil out there.
