So, I just read an article about how some progressives are freaking out because they saw people standing for the national anthem. I mean, I get it, we all have our own beliefs and opinions, but this seems a little extreme.

Basically, what happened was that there was a video that went viral showing a group of high school students standing for the national anthem at a basketball game. And apparently, this upset some progressives who feel that standing for the anthem is some kind of fascist statement.

Now, I’m not a particularly political person, but this seems like a bit of an overreaction to me. I mean, standing for the anthem is a way to show respect for our country and the people who have fought to protect our freedom.

Personally, I don’t get caught up in the whole debate about whether or not to stand for the anthem. I just do it out of habit and respect. But I know that there are people out there who feel very strongly about it, and that’s okay.

At the end of the day, I think this whole ordeal just highlights the fact that we live in a pretty divided country right now. People have different beliefs and opinions, and that’s okay. It doesn’t mean we can’t still be friends or treat each other with respect.
