The hey-day of the 70s, 80s, and 90s are certainly over (don’t even get me going about the 50s or 60s) but the women of the last 70 years still manage to make us swoon. They may be older actresses now but these Hollywood celebrities continue to age like fine wine. From modeling on some of the most exclusive runways, to appearing (and selling) in many of the most iconic films of the last few decades, these older actresses have established their beauty, skill, and timelessness, now and then.

Whether your favorite older actresses are American or bring their beautiful graces from far away places, the Hollywood and celebrity female superstars on this list will go down in history. Some are older than others, by quite a few years, but from appearance alone, we bet you won’t be able to tell an age difference of more than 15 years. It’s true! All these women still continue to surprise us!

Phoebe Cates - 57

Born in 1963, the lovely Phoebe Cates is a former actress, singer, and model that gained stardom largely in the 1980s. Cates was seen in Drop Dead Fred, Baby Sister, and as the unbelievable Linda Barrett in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Despite a 1994 acting retirement, Cates returned for The Anniversary Party in 2001. These days, she sells jewelry, clothing, antiques, art, and perfume at her New York City store, Blue Tree.

In 2019 she played Mary Louise Wright in the TV show Big Little Lies, and she’s set to play President Janie Orlean in the 2021 film Don’t Look Up.
