So I was reading this wild article about a non-binary former Biden official named Sam Brinton getting arrested for yet another baggage theft… yeah, you heard me right. Apparently this isn’t the first time they’ve been caught stealing luggage from airports.
From what I gathered, Brinton used to work in the Energy Department under Biden (crazy, right?) and identifies as non-binary, which means they don’t identify as strictly male or female. But despite their high-profile job, they’ve had a history of sticky fingers when it comes to other people’s bags.
They were recently arrested for stealing luggage from a Delta baggage claim in Florida, which led to their house being searched and even more stolen luggage being found. Apparently there’s been a similar incident before in New York.
Now, I’m all for being yourself and identifying however you want, but stealing is never okay. It doesn’t matter who you are or what your job is. And honestly, it’s just really bizarre to me that someone in such a prestigious position would risk everything by taking something that isn’t theirs.
In conclusion, this article definitely caught my attention and made me think about the consequences of one bad decision. It’s important to remember that identity and ethics are two separate things, and we should always strive to make the right choices no matter who we are or how we identify.
