There’s plenty to do — swimming, boating, interacting with wildlife, taking pictures of people falling on their faces… Wait, what?? Sometimes a day out with your camera can lead to some hilarious beach photos, if you know where to look. After all, where there are people relaxing, there will inevitably be people getting a little too relaxed and maybe a little intoxicated. When this sweet elderly man asked the couple if they wanted him to take their picture, they of course said, “Yes.” He then proceeded to accidentally flip the camera the wrong way and took this up-nostril shot of himself. All we have to say is, “Nailed it!”

Well, that’s certainly one way to make sure you don’t drown… We wonder if it’s the air in her head that keeps her afloat, or the buoyancy in her…well you get the idea.

Not only did the guy in the water get the pose perfectly, he also maneuvered himself right into a spot in the frame where he wasn’t blocked by any arms. That is some bathing suit too.

We’ve heard of sandcastles in the sand, but never a “sandcouch” in the sand. Can’t say he doesn’t look comfortable though.

The perfect accessory to a teeny tiny nap on the beach is a teeny tiny stool to keep your head out of the grains of teeny tiny sand.

Pro beach tip- Apply your sunscreen BEFORE you start drinking. (Especially if you’re drinking what appears to be … an entire bottle of wine?) After you start, you won’t care, and that’s when this happens.

You got this, little gi—… Well, she was having a great day at the beach until a mouth full of sand. Let’s hope it doesn’t deter her from future sprints down sand dunes. Her flop form was spectacular, to be honest. Stuck the landing nine out of 10.

Nevertheless, he was a man of sheer power and will. However, things made a turn for the worse when he tried to stand back up in front of two attractive women. Did you know that if you tie a bunch of empty soda bottles to your body, you’ll be more buoyant than ever? No? Good. This guy went out into the ocean with no ability to swim and nothing but these empty bottles around him, and he was never seen or heard from again. Okay, we don’t know for sure if he was ever in any real danger but we can all agree that this idea is as ridiculous as it gets.

Photobomb level- Expert! This little pooch was tired of all the girls’ selfies together and just wanted to be part of the group. Why can’t he be in the photo, Karen!? Or maybe the dog actually has two tiny human heads growing between his ears? Stranger things have happened…

Does it still count as a beach photo if you’re only pretending to be at the beach? Why is this man’s entire life a LIE!? Well, they do say is you think hard enough about something, you’ll will it to existence. So maybe this guy has finally been able to find a real beach!

All she wanted was a cute beach-doughnut shot for Instagram … and instead she captured a photo of disaster. Pro tip- Seagulls are vultures. Eat your food quickly and keep it close to your body. Don’t be another victim.

See, we told you not to trust the seagulls! This scene of terror is like a Renaissance painting come to life. How many casualties were confirmed this day? We can’t say, but the beach was never the same for these folks after this trauma.

Tan-Lines

We beg this beach-goer to invest in a tee shirt. Not only is the tank top look, and its associated tan-lines, completely unflattering – seriously, look at that color difference! –  it’s also also definitely not worth the skin cancer risks that come with it. At the very list, pick up some new, stronger sunscreen. We’d recommend SPF As-High-As-It-Goes.

So, do we think all these people didn’t see/ignored the sign, or is this some kind of coordinated, French Revolution-style rebellion against the sign? Inquiring minds need to know.

Drink Up

On the one hand, a day at the beach can get immensely  hot, and it’s always important to stay cool and hydrated. On the other hand, that still looks like it would be an awful lot of ginger ale.

Sand Couches in the Sand

So we’ve already seen someone bring a couch to the beach, but how about building a couch out of the beach? We’ll give it points for ingenuity, since it doesn’t involve needlessly moving a large piece of furniture. That said, the sand couch loses massive points on the comfort scale. Let’s be real, it doesn’t matter how many towels or blankets are thrown on it, the second you sit down those grains of sane are going everywhere, and we mean ev-er-y-where.

Sometimes we could all use a helping hand in life, especially when it comes to applying suntan lotion. Also, let’s face it, even with that roller, he’s going to miss a few spots and likely burn something fierce.
