Girl, 4, found dead in Florida canal near family's vacation rental

So, I just read this article about a really horrible thing that happened down in Florida. Basically, a four year old girl was found dead in a canal near where her family was staying for vacation. It’s just so sad and heartbreaking.

From what I gathered, the family was down there visiting from Iowa and they were staying at this rental house nearby the water. Apparently, the little girl wandered off while her family was sleeping and somehow ended up in the canal. It’s not really clear how she got in there, but the police are still investigating.
