I just read an article that talks about the FBI’s latest move in the search for a fugitive who’s said to have killed five of his neighbors in Texas. The craziest part? The guy is in the country illegally. So basically, he’s already breaking the law and then he goes ahead and commits murder? What a piece of work.
Anyway, the FBI has released new photos of the guy (apparently he’s changed his appearance) and they’re asking for the public’s help in finding him. They’ve been looking for him for two years now, so it’s pretty serious. The guy’s name is Jose Luis Rodriguez, and he’s 36 years old. His neighbors reported that he had been shooting at them through his apartment walls, and when the police arrived, they found five people dead in the building.
It’s scary to think that someone who’s already broken the law by entering the country illegally could also be capable of such violence. It’s also a reminder that we need to be vigilant and report suspicious behavior when we see it. You never know what could happen if someone goes unchecked.
I’m not sure why this article caught my attention so much - maybe it’s just the shock factor of a mass shooting committed by someone who shouldn’t even be in the country to begin with. But the bottom line is that we need to be aware of our surroundings and take threats seriously. It could save lives.
