DeSantis suggests Trump doesn't understand the 'woke' threat to America

So, I just read this article about DeSantis and Trump and the whole ‘woke’ thing… Let me tell you, it’s pretty interesting.

Basically, DeSantis is the governor of Florida and he gave this speech where he suggested that Trump doesn’t really understand the whole “‘woke’ threat” to America. You know, that whole idea of people being overly politically correct and sensitive about everything.

Apparently, DeSantis thinks that people who are ‘woke’ are actually a threat to American culture and values. He thinks that they’re trying to rewrite history and change the way we talk about things like race and gender.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I think it’s kind of funny that an old white guy like DeSantis is complaining about people being too politically correct. I mean, isn’t that kind of what he’s doing by trying to ban critical race theory from being taught in schools?

But seriously, this whole ‘woke’ thing is actually a pretty big deal. It’s not just about being sensitive, it’s about acknowledging that there are problems with the way we’ve talked about race and gender in the past. And by pretending like everything is fine and dandy, we’re not actually fixing those problems.

In conclusion, I think it’s important to pay attention to what people like DeSantis and Trump are saying about this whole ‘woke’ thing.
