CNN Host Don Lemon Says Network Fired Him

So, I read this crazy article about Don Lemon getting fired from CNN! Apparently, he made some comments about Trump and the network wasn’t too thrilled. Basically, Lemon said that Trump was not fit to be President and that he’s a racist. CNN didn’t like that, so they canned him.

Now, as much as I love Don Lemon, I have to say that I’m not surprised. It’s not the first time he’s been controversial. Remember when he smelled his own armpit on air? Classic Lemon.

All jokes aside, this is a really interesting topic because it has to do with free speech and censorship. Should someone lose their job simply because they express an opinion, especially if it’s a popular opinion? I don’t think so. But then again, CNN is a private company and they have the right to do what they want.

In conclusion, it’s a shame that Don Lemon got fired, but it’s not the end of the world. He’s a talented journalist and I’m sure he’ll land on his feet somewhere else. And who knows, maybe he’ll start his own news network and call it Lemon-ade.
