Bud Light's Dylan Mulvaney promo will be ultimately good for brand, public relations guru insists

So, I read an article about Bud Light’s latest promo with Dylan Mulvaney, and it turns out that their public relations guru is insisting it will be good for the brand! Basically, the promo involves Dylan going on a mission to deliver Bud Light cases to unsuspecting fans using a customized van, and it’s all being documented on social media.

Apparently, the main goal of this campaign is to generate buzz and engage with younger consumers who are more likely to share their experiences on social media. By creating a fun and interactive experience, Bud Light hopes to improve its image and increase its market share among millennials.

Personally, I can see why this would work. When I was in college, our go-to beer for parties and tailgates was always Bud Light. It was cheap, easy to drink, and everyone knew the brand. But in recent years, craft beers and other brands have become more popular, and Bud Light has struggled to keep up.

By creating a unique and memorable experience like the Dylan Mulvaney promo, Bud Light is showing that it’s still relevant and fun. And even if the promo doesn’t necessarily lead to an immediate increase in sales, it’s generating positive buzz and improving the brand’s image.

Overall, I think it’s a smart move by Bud Light, and I’m curious to see how their sales and market position will change over the next few years. Plus, who knows? Maybe Dylan will show up at my doorstep with a case of Bud Light one day!
