'Boycott Target' Jumps Past Morgan Wallen, Taylor Swift to Become No. 1 Song on iTunes

So, I just read this crazy article about how ‘Boycott Target’ has become the number one song on iTunes! Can you believe it?

Basically, this song is a response to Target’s decision to allow transgender people to use the bathroom that corresponds with their gender identity. Some people are mad about it and trying to boycott the store, and this song is their anthem.

The singer, Germey, is an independent artist who posted the song on iTunes and it just took off. It’s even beaten out big names like Morgan Wallen and Taylor Swift!

Personally, I think it’s ridiculous that people are making such a big deal out of this. Why can’t we just let everyone use the bathroom they feel most comfortable in? It’s not hurting anyone.

But it does make me think about the power of social media and how one small thing, like a song, can catch on and become a viral sensation. It also highlights how deep-seated discrimination still is in our society.

Overall, I think this article is important because it shows how even the most seemingly trivial issues can be used as a way to push hateful agendas. We need to stand up against discrimination and support inclusivity for all.
