So there’s been quite the drama over Adam Schiff and his role in the whole Trump-Russia debacle. But it looks like he’s managed to dodge a pretty big bullet. The House voted against a bill that would have censured him for supposedly lying about his knowledge of Trump’s ties to Russia.
Basically, some people were claiming that he made up a bunch of stuff to try and make Trump look bad, and that he should be punished for it. But in the end, it seems like there wasn’t enough evidence to prove those accusations.
It’s interesting to me because I remember when all this first started, it felt like everyone was talking about it nonstop. But now, it seems like people have moved on to other things and maybe aren’t as invested in the outcome of the investigation.
Personally, I think it’s important to hold our elected officials accountable for their actions and statements. And while I don’t know all the ins and outs of this case, I’m glad that Schiff was able to avoid being censured if there wasn’t enough evidence to support those claims.
All in all, this whole situation just goes to show that politics can be messy and unpredictable. But it’s important to stay informed and engaged if we want to have a say in how our country is run.
